Bankruptcy is the honest way to go. You could have topped off all your credit cards and hightailed it out of the [spin}United States|country[/spin]. Do you know what you can afford in other countries using American dollars? I mean we have all heard of living in places where you have servants who do everything you want them to do – and I mean everything. I remember this dirty old man I knew tangentially some years back. He was young but still qualified as a dirty old man. I mean this man was disgusting! And he was a fairly well known jeweler. Anyway, he moved to Thailand, this is 30 years ago, bought a house for a song on a beautiful, tropical piece of property overlooking the ocean. It came with a full time cook, house cleaner, grounds keeper, driver and escort! I remember being shocked when I heard how much all of that cost him. If I remember correctly it was miniscule, something like one tenth the amount something like that would cost in this country. I’d say back then that if it cost us thirty six thousand dollars a year to live that it cost him three thousand dollars to live like a king.
