This is a great way to stay motivated or even find study buddies. Even while deployed thousands of miles from home, a soldier can plan for a career outside the US military.

Some soldiers may value the organization and leadership skills they’ve learned and choose to get a business degree. These principles are transferable to almost any job in any company and allow entry when the service member moves from the military into a civilian career.
Another person may choose to utilize the peacekeeping strategies taught in the armed services. These soldiers may choose to take schools online toward nursing, psychology or counseling degrees. Those planning a military career can also benefit from online schools. Many GI bill may help a soldier gain promotion within their branch of the military. No matter where a service member pictures themselves down the road, in or out of the military, online college is one way to help them get there.
